Can Occupational Health Contact My GP – Occupational Health Explained

Occupational health can contact your GP, with your consent to do so. This has to be your written consent to share your medical information. As an occupational health provider, if I wanted to ask your GP about a particular health condition that you have, I would have to get your written consent in order to send that to your GP, requesting an opinion on what I had asked for.

Your health data is protected by GDPR and therefor cannot be given to an individual without your consent.
